Product formulations consist of key ingredients that are uniquely New Zealand.

KEY INGREDIENTS

New Zealand bee venom: consists of more than 18 natural substances that cannot be chemically reproduced. The most abundant active component of the bee venom is melittin and apamin known for its anti-aging restorative properties. Other useful properties include anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral actions.
Due to the seasonal nature of Bee venom collection, supply of this scarce commodity is limited.
It costs about £27,000 an ounce.

METHOD OF EXTRACTING THE BEE VENOM

A pane of glass is placed alongside the hive and a gentle electrical current is run through it, which harmlessly encourages the insects to sting the surface. The bees are not harmed in the process.

Manuka honey: It is derived from nectar collected by honey bees foraging on the manuka tree.

In 1981 Dr Peter Molan (MBE), Associate Professor in Biochemistry at Waikato University, New Zealand, confirmed that some strains of the New Zealand Manuka bush honey contains an extraordinary, naturally present, very stable and powerful non-peroxide antibacterial activity not found in any other variety of honey. The combination of hydrogen peroxide and the non-peroxide activity in Manuka honey has many health professionals now choosing to use Manuka honey in the treatment of wounds and infections.

It is known for its antiseptic properties, the antibacterial potency of manuka honey is 10 to 50 times more powerful. It has been shown to stop the growth of the antibiotic-resistant superbug known as MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus).

Manuka honey soothes, softens and moisturizes your skin and help skin recover from exposure to the environment.
